This award was created by Robert and Barbara Tremblay and their daughters to facilitate opportunities for graduate students at the Ontario Veterinary College to showcase their research and to have opportunities to interact with scholars sharing similar interests in dairy research. Apply as part of the application process for all OVC graduate awards in January of each year. Selection will be based on the relevance of the proposed travel to the students' research, and their academic performance and dairy research productivity to date during their graduate studies. At the time of application, students must have submitted their abstract but are not required to have been selected to present or defend to be selected for the travel grant.
Students registered full-time in any program offered by the Ontario Veterinary College who are conducting dairy research and travelling to attend a scientific conference where they have submitted an abstract to present or defend.
