The SUNDANCe Indigenous Scholarship was established to recognize First Nations, Métis, and Inuit students who give back to their communities and are attending one of the following institutions: Wilfrid Laurier University, University of Waterloo and affiliated colleges – Renison and St. Paul’s or the University of Guelph. One award will be awarded to each institution. Apply by October 7th by completing the SUNDANCe Indigenous Scholarship application and submit a completed Financial Need Assessment Form (N.A.F.) to Student Financial Services. Applicants are required to confirm their First Nations, Inuit or Métis identify by completing the Indigenous Identity Confirmation Process for Students. Selection will be based on financial need.

Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit, Métis) students registered in a minimum of 2.0 credits per semester in any program who have demonstrated financial need and involvement within the Indigenous community, who are long-term residents of Ontario. A long-term resident of Ontario: Ontario is the most recent province where the student lived for 12 consecutive months, not including time as a full-time post-secondary student. Married/common-law: Ontario is the most recent province in which the student's spouse resided for 12 consecutive months. Single Dependent Student: Ontario is the most recent province in which the student's parent(s) resided for at least 12 consecutive months.
