Established to support graduate students in financial need whose research interests relate to developing countries. Apply by January 10 to Student Financial Services with a completed Financial Need Assessment Form and submit the Richard and Sophia Hungerford Graduate Scholarship application form. Recipients will be selected on the basis of financial need, academic achievement, and the quality of their intended research in developing countries. ACCESS AWARD.
Registered or incoming full-time students with at least a cumulative 80% average in their last two years are eligible with demonstrated financial need. Students are ineligible if beyond semester 5 at the masters level and semester 7 at the doctoral level. Additionally, students must meet the government-mandated terms for receipt of an OSOTF award (see General Statements on Awards).
