Domestic tuition rates for provincially regulated programs in Ontario were reduced by 10 per cent in 2019, and tuition for Ontario students has remained frozen.
This year, post-secondary institutions across Ontario had the opportunity to adjust tuition rates in select program areas to align with market rates and address inequities where existing rates are significantly below the sector average for comparable programs. Tuition rates for U of G’s Bachelor of Commerce and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine programs and select majors within the Bachelor of Engineering are significantly below the sector average and will be increased by 7.5 per cent effective fall 2023. The 2023-24 tuition rates below become effective in fall 2023 for first-year students. These amounts reflect tuition only for two semesters.
