Undergraduate
In 2023, the University of Guelph awarded more than $2.9 million in entrance, need-based awards ranging in value from $500 to $50,000. Students are encouraged to utilize our award search to determine awards that require an application in addition to the Financial Need Assessment Form for Entrance Awards. To be eligible for entrance awards, students must be entering post-secondary studies for the first time. Students who have previously attended a post-secondary institution will be eligible to participate in our in-course student bursary and financial aid programs.
Graduate
In 2023, University of Guelph graduate students received $930,000 in bursaries and need-based scholarship assistance. Graduate students are eligible to apply for bursary assistance once they begin their program.
Most entrance awards are offered to students upon admission to one of our graduate programs and are based on the student's admission application. You should contact the department for which you are seeking admission as well as utilize our graduate award online search to see a listing of University of Guelph approved awards.
