School of Environmental Design and Rural Development - Landscape Architecture MLA Master's Thesis Examination Brennan Guse, a master of landscape architecture candidate in the School of Environmental Design and Rural Development, will defend his thesis on "A Waterfront Revitalization Strategy for Parry Sound's Post-Industrial Southern Waterfront". Louis Helps, a master student in Rural Planning and Development in the School of Environmental Design and Rural Development, will defend his thesis on "Housing in the Integration and Wellbeing of Seasonal Agricultural Workers"

Elijah Dalton, a master student in Capacity Development and Extension in the School of Environmental Design and Rural Development, will defend his thesis on "The Influence of Cash Transfers and Remittances on Children's Human Capital Accumulation".

The final SEDRD Speaker event features Amy Barnes sharing a presentation titled "Heritage & Conservation Planning – Determining the Value of the Past with Present Day Planning Tools”. All are welcome to attend. 

The School of Environmental Design and Rural Development at the University of Guelph and the OPPI invite you to the 5th Annual Rural Romp! As a nod to the City of Guelph and Wellington County being awarded the Smart Cities Challenge Prize, the theme of this year's Rural Romp is Smart Cities: The Circular Food Economy. Amanada will highlight the usefulness of LandF/X, an Autocad plug-in, that provides numerous time saving features relating to creating and maintaining planting plans.
