RPD Town Hall Meeting

The Rural Planning and Development program is hosting a town hall meeting with all current RPD students on March 27, 2024 from 12.00-1.00 pm EST. The meeting is an opportunity to check-in, receive program updates, discuss upcoming opportunities, celebrate achievements, and ask your questions. PhD Qualifying Examination: Elzbieta Mastej

Elzbieta Mastej, a PhD student in Rural Studies at the School of Environmental Design and Rural Development, will present her qualifying examination on “Confronting Colonial Legacies of EA by Exploring the Nexus of EA and Participation.”

2024 Rural Symposium

The Rural Symposium is an annual opportunity for University of Guelph graduate students to showcase their rural research to policymakers, policy analysts, and program staff from the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA). The event facilitates knowledge mobilization and network building between graduate students at the University of Guelph, researchers, and OMAFRA.
