The Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (BLA) degree program meeting (meeting of major) for new BLA students will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at 10:00 am.   

This is an opportunity for new BLA students to meet members of the Landscape Architecture Student Society.  Find out about the LASS organization and how to get involved.  There will also be a question-and-answer period and "tips and tricks" to help get settled in the program.

School of Environmental Design and Rural Development – Capacity Development and Extension Uduak Edet, a master student in Capacity Development and Extension within the School of Environmental Design and Rural Development, will defend their thesis on "The Influence of Information Disorder on Climate Change Adaptation Practices of Farmers in Lagos State, Nigeria.”

School of Environmental Design and Rural Development – Capacity Development and Extension Takudzwanashe Mundenga, a master student in Capacity Development and Extension within the School of Environmental Design and Rural Development, will defend their thesis on “Examining Media as a Stakeholder in Soil Health-Related Climate Change Mitigation."

School of Environmental Design and Rural Development - Landscape Architecture MLA Master's Thesis Examination Diana Lawson-Canning, a master of landscape architecture candidate in the School of Environmental Design and Rural Development, will defend her thesis on "Considering Genetic Diversity and Climate Change Adaptation in Native Plant Selection:  Decision-Making in Southern Ontario Producers and Users."

The spring convocation ceremonies for the Class of 2023 for graduates in the Ontario Agricultural College will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 4:30 pm, at the Guelph Gryphons Athletics Centre.   We hope you are looking forward to returning to Guelph for your ceremony.   Graduates and their guests are welcome to stop by the Landscape Architecture building prior to the ceremony.
