Please join us for our annual United Way Halloween Coffee Break Social taking place on Thursday, October 31st from 2 to 3 p.m.  Our event will be held in Johnston Hall, Room 154C. We will be joined by special guests Cindy McMann, from Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis, and Grace Manarang, Relationship Manager, United Way Guelph Wellington Dufferin.

Join us for lunch and a spook-tacular Halloween Trivia on October 31, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Peter Clark Hall! Grab your $15 ticket and don't forget to dress up as there will be a prize for the best costume!  Tickets are on sale now until October 24th: https://trellis.org/university-of-guelph-trick-or-trivia-2024! You can purchase both single tickets and a whole table for ten.    

Please join us for an hour that celebrates the solo brilliance of our UG choir members, whose performances will range from their own very personal pop compositions, to classical, to sing-along. Refreshments to follow. Freewill donation (suggested $5-10) ALL PROCEEDS TO UNITED WAY; any student who donates through e-pledge $20 or more gets FIVE entries in the free parking pass lottery!

Join us on October 25th to October 27th where $1 from every ticket sold will go to United Way. There are a variety of sports to watch and chose from!  Tickets can be purchased here.

Looking for a fun way to win gift cards while supporting a great cause? Join the Office of Registrarial Services Gift Card Survivor at the University of Guelph! Open to UofG staff and faculty, the game kicks off on November 1 with daily draws to see who gets eliminated until only 3 winners remain. Entry is $20, and you can boost your chances by purchasing up to two “immunities” for $5 each, which put your name back in the draw if you get picked. The top 3 players will win gift cards of their choice—$100 for 1st place, $75 for 2nd, and $50 for 3rd.

Tours will begin at Alumni Plaza outside War Memorial Hall at 7:00 or at 8:30. Dates available: Thursday, October 17 Thursday, October 24 Tuesday, October 29  

Order your Halloween Candy Grams TODAY! What are Halloween Candy Grams? Halloween Candy Grams are customized candy grams with pre-written notes of appreciation and a piece of Halloween candy that you can send to your colleagues, your friends. Halloween Candy Grams are $3 each. You have until October 21st to submit your Halloween Candy Gram order (attached). Halloween Candy Grams can be picked up, or delivered, on Tuesday, October 31 between 8:30a-4p in Biomedical Sciences, OVC, Room 2633

Every dollar counts and every donation adds up over the course of the year. When combined with donations from all across our community, United Way can provide millions of dollars to create lasting positive change on pressing social issues.

Join us at Peter Clark Hall at 2:30pm for an Ambassador-exclusive Campaign Kick-off! It will be a time for sharing and caring while getting to hear from our 2024 Steering Committee, the United Way GWD, and other long-time Ambassadors from across campus. You’ll also have the opportunity to personally build your department’s United Way Merch Kit, meet and mingle with fellow Ambassadors, as well as enjoy some tasty snacks and treats!
