100th Anniversary of War Memorial Hall

An event to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the opening of War Memorial Hall, and to reflect on the sacrifices of the faculty and students of the Ontario Agricultural College who gave their lives in the First World War. Reminder that doors open at 6:30pm, and we kindly ask guests to be seated by 7:00pm for the ceremony. Get Your Free Ticket Here.   

United Way Axe Throwing Event

Buy your tickets for our United Way Axe Throwing Event at Riot Axe located at 101 Beverley St Suite D, Guelph on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 7 p.m.!!! Family and friends are welcome to join!   The cost is $50 per person, and half of the proceeds will go directly into the campaign.  The event is a two-hour session which includes instruction, practice, and a mini tournament. Participants can also enjoy socializing with their peers as Riot Axe is a licensed venue.

United Way Halloween Coffee Break Social

Please join us for our annual United Way Halloween Coffee Break Social taking place on Thursday, October 31st from 2 to 3 p.m.  Our event will be held in Johnston Hall, Room 154C. We will be joined by special guests Cindy McMann, from Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis, and Grace Manarang, Relationship Manager, United Way Guelph Wellington Dufferin.

Trick or Trivia

United Way Choir Solo Showcase

Please join us for an hour that celebrates the solo brilliance of our UG choir members, whose performances will range from their own very personal pop compositions, to classical, to sing-along. Refreshments to follow. Freewill donation (suggested $5-10) ALL PROCEEDS TO UNITED WAY; any student who donates through e-pledge $20 or more gets FIVE entries in the free parking pass lottery!

Office of Registrarial Services Gift Card Survivor

Open to UofG staff and faculty, the game kicks off on November 1 with daily draws to see who gets eliminated until only 3 winners remain. Entry is $20, and you can boost your chances by purchasing up to two “immunities” for $5 each, which put your name back in the draw if you get picked. The top 3 players will win gift cards of their choice—$100 for 1st place, $75 for 2nd, and $50 for 3rd.

Halloween Candy Grams are customized candy grams with pre-written notes of appreciation and a piece of Halloween candy that you can send to your colleagues, your friends. Halloween Candy Grams are $3 each. You have until October 21st to submit your Halloween Candy Gram order (attached).
