As the nights start to get darker quicker and the weather gets colder, you may be looking for some new indoor virtual activities you can participate in.  The Wellness@Work Programming Committee have compiled a few online resources you can check out to learn something new, explore unique places around the world, have some fun and/or connect with others.

Connect with Nature and Animals

  • Bird Cams: A virtual window into the natural world of birds
  • Monterey Bay Aquarium: Tune in to a web cam to experience the wonder of the ocean
  • San Diego Zoo: Watch a live camera to observe the zoo animals
  • Many national parks are available for viewing thanks to Google Earth and Google Arts & Culture, including the Grand Canyon and Yosemite

Travel from the Comfort of your Couch

Tour Interesting Buildings and Spaces

Watch a Performance

  • Enjoy a Shakespearian performance like Hamlet or Romeo and Juliet from the Stratford Festival “From Stage to Screen.”

Learn Something New

Socialize Virtually with Friends and Family 

  • Try Words with Friends or Draw Something as fun games you can 
  • Use a virtual platform to video chat with family and friends
