Rachel Mesch is associate professor of French literature and culture at Yeshiva University in New York. Her book Having it all in the Belle Époque: How French Women's Magazines Invented the Modern Woman was published by Stanford UP in 2013. Her first book, The Hysteric's Revenge: French Women Writers at the Fin de Siècle was published by Vanderbilt UP in 2006.
