The University of Guelph is committed to transparency with regard to electronic monitoring. The purpose of this Electronic Monitoring Policy (the “Policy”) is to provide transparency about the University’s use of electronic monitoring tools for employee activity.  

This Policy is intended to outline the University’s electronic monitoring practices and should be read in conjunction with other applicable University policies, guidelines or standards, including but not limited to:

Student transportation vehicles can operate at full capacity. If possible, eating or drinking in the vehicles should be avoided unless 2 metres of physical distance can be maintained between individuals. Operable windows and roof vents (if applicable) should be open when feasible to increase ventilation.

911 - Animals on Campus Protocol

1 SUBJECT

This Protocol identifies the conditions under which Animals are permitted to be brought onto University grounds and in buildings by individuals for personal use. 

2 PURPOSE

The purpose of this Protocol is to:

2.1 manage the presence of animals on University grounds to maintain sanitation and health regulations as well as to reduce the risk of injury to animals, University community members and the public;

913 - Occupational Health Surveillance policy

Applicability:

The Occupational Health Surveillance Policy applies to all University of Guelph employees (staff, faculty and post-doctoral scholars) and graduate students whose work and/or research activities might expose them to an increased risk of an occupational hazard such as chemicals, physical agents (noise and radiation) and biohazards.
