A University of Guelph researcher is using technology to transform the way theatre is experienced.

Dr. Peter Kuling, assistant professor in the School of English and Theatre Studies in the College of Arts, recently directed the Macbeth VR Experience, a project funded by the Ontario Exchange Network. He collaborated with actors from the Shaw and Stratford Festivals and students from the College of Arts, along with SimWave VR, to bring this innovative project to life.

The Macbeth VR Experience is designed for educational purposes, offering a fresh perspective on Shakespeare's classic play. Kuling's goal is to foster interest in theatre among younger generations, including high school students, by making theatre more accessible.
