Cercospora leaf spot is a devastating disease of sugar beets. Through the summer these sugar beets were treated with pesticides to evaluate which fungicide programs decrease disease severity while managing to be environmentally friendly. These sugar beets are seconds away from harvest so that their sugar content and quality can be assessed.
