This photo captures a rare sight - an empty university locker room. The quietness felt in this image contrasts the loud and lively atmosphere many student-athletes find themselves in. The larger social/enviornmental factors of this "dual-career" that student-athletes live are the focus of my PhD studies. In particular, their impact on student-athlete mental health.
