This is an iconic view of the dome of "les Invalides" taken from the Rodin Museum in Paris, France. Rodin's sculpture of "The Thinker" is visible in the garden. The "Hotel Biron", an 18th century stately home that now houses Rodin's collection, is visible on the left. This photo was taken on November 30, 2022. I was attending a conference at the Rodin Museum that day. Part of my current research projects deals with the history of the creation of this Museum, which opened to the public in 1919.
