Air Sampling under Northern Lights

M.A.Sc. Student, Amir Nazem, from Atmospheric Innovations Research (AIR) Laboratory at Environmental Engineering program is flying the Tethered And Navigated Air Blimp (TANAB) system to collect weather data in Northern Alberta. TANAB is uniquely developed by UofG researchers to probe and understand the Atmospheric Boundary Layer. This photo provides a snap-shot of Amir Nazem flying TANAB while the Northern Lights dance in the background.
