This photo was taken in the Summer of 2018, on a site tour of the Yorklands Green Hub (YGH). I work as a research assistant for the Community Engaged Scholarship Institute at the University of Guelph, and was assigned to work on an evaluation of the YGH's programs. The community partner was passionate about what their organization stood for, however it never translated well to our research team, until we went on our site tour. We were surrounded with nature and beauty, and passion. This site tour allowed us to pursue the research project with drive and try to get the best results possible. Although the project is now over, it has left a lasting impact on me.
