The Squirrel Life project aims to make science more accessible and engaging for a wide audience. This citizen science project asks participants to observe and count squirrels in their neighbourhoods. Squirrels are a relatively common animal seen in a variety of habitats. Through the Squirrel Life project, my eyes have been open to the beautifully fascinating life of squirrels. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know my local squirrels better.
