During the process of tobacco cultivation in Pinar del Río, Cuba, the tobacco plant leaves are carefully strung one by one to begin the drying process that lasts between 40 and 55 days. This meticulous and arduous task is carried out, particularly by Cuban women, during the harvest season from November to March. 
The photo was taken at the Benigno Acosta Santana Farm in Cuba in 2024.
