At the Honey Bee Research Centre, we work with our honey bees to perform various research projects to further our understanding of them and threats to their populations. An examples of this is Aon's project (pictured with his bee beard) which looks at how bee nutrition can influence susceptibility to infection by Nosema spores. We also work to educate others about honey bees and one such example of this is by showing off our bee beards! We work to help others avoid fearing bees and show how you can work with them even without a veil!
