The population of wild mustangs in the USA is controlled by immunocontraception, but little is known about the long-term effects of immunization. Anecdotal evidence shows an increase in aggression among bands that receive the vaccine. Field data was collected on the Pryor Mountain Mustangs in Montana in July 2017.
