You may use the "Request for an REB Exemption" application type within the "Main Application Form" in EthOS. The guidance within this dynamic form will help you determine if your proposed research is exempt from REB review. You may request a formal confirmation of REB exemption if necessary, e.g., if a collaborating institution wishes to have our confirmation that we do not need to review the project. You are encouraged to reach out to the Research Ethics office directly for guidance if there is any uncertainty about whether REB review is required.
