Course objectives:
To study the ritual and theology of the Greek and the Romans in the course of
the millennium from Homer to Julian (from the 7th century b.c.e through the 4th century c.e).
Learning outcomes:
On successfully completing this course the student will possess an advanced
understanding of the practice of religion in both Ancient Greece and Rome as well as of the
beliefs which underpinned it.
