Associate Dean (Research & Graduate Studies) Announcement
Memo from Dean Vannelli
I am pleased to announce that Professor Leonid Brown has agreed to become the Associate Dean, Research & Grad Studies beginning a 5-year term on November 1, 2016. All four candidates that were considered were excellent candidates. The Associate Dean Research & Grad Studies Search Committee reached a unanimous consensus and was pleased to recommend Leonid Brown for this position.
On behalf of the Search Committee I want to extend our appreciation to Marcel Schlaf, France-Isabelle Auzanneau and Deb Stacey for sharing their visions of the Associate Dean, Research & Grad Studies with us. I ask all of you to join me in congratulating Leonid.
I also want to use this opportunity to thank Professor Deborah Stacey, in particular for the outstanding job that she did as Assistant Dean, Research & Grad Studies during the last 5 ½ years.
In closing, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the members of the Search Committee (listed below) and to all those who attended the various presentations/discussions and/or responded to the committee’s request for input.
