Manager of Outreach Receives Award at Actua's 2025 National Conference

Actua's 2025 National Conference took place in Ottawa from January 22 - 24, 2025.

Actua is a network-driven organization, proudly representing over 40 universities and colleges across Canada, delivering hands-on STEM programming to youth in every province and territory.

Creative Encounters at the University of Guelph is part of Canada’s largest network of STEM outreach. The Actua National conference is a three day gathering to give network members the opportunity to gather together nationally to discuss major themes around supporting youth with skills and confidence in STEM.

Jean Hein, Manager of Outreach of the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences, was given an award to recognize her long-term leadership of more than five years of service.
