Prof. Beth Parker wins M. King Hubbert Award

On August 28, 2018, The National Ground Water Association (NGWA) announced the recipients of the 2018 NGWA Awards of Excellence. Professor Beth Parker from the University of Guelph's School of Engineering was among the award winners. She was awarded the M. King Hubbert Award—presented to a person who has made a major science or engineering contribution to the groundwater industry through research, technical papers, teaching, and practical applications. Congratulations, Prof. Parker!

Richard G. Zytner has been recognized as a Fellow of the Canadian Society of Civil Engineering.

School of Engineering Professor Honoured

Congratulations to Richard G. Zytner, Professor in University of Guelph’s School of Engineering, who has been recognized as a Fellow of the Canadian Society of Civil Engineering (CSCE).

Fellows of the CSCE have attained civil engineering excellence. They are elected by the CSCE Board of Directors.

“Prof. Zytner’s election as a Fellow of the CSCE reflects the considerable contributions that he has made to civil engineering,” says Prof. Mary Wells, Dean, College of Engineering and Physical Sciences, University of Guelph.
