Free Pilates Class

The Pilates method focuses on core strengthening, breathing & alignment. This well-known exercise technique helps participants gain awareness of body alignment while strengthening key core and pelvic muscles to support posture and healthy spinal movement.

Meatless Mondays are a good opportunity to try out some new vegetarian recipes. The Sustainability Office has pulled together a helpful list of where to eat meatless at U of G. Their Meatless Monday blog also features some yummy vegetarian recipes to test out.

President's House Tour

Take a guided tour through the President’s House to learn about its history. The beautiful building was constructed in 1882 and used as the President’s residence until 1984. As you pass through the different rooms you’ll discover some of its most notable features.  In 1912 it was moved across College Avenue to its current location by a team of horses using round logs as rollers. There is lot’s to catch your eye. Spots are limited and given on a first-come first-serve basis. If the tour is full, you will be notified and placed on the waiting list by registering here.

Wednesday Walks at the Arboretum

Nature is known to be unpredictable and unexpected, so what awaits us today?  Rachel, the Arboretum's Naturalist Intern, will be leading 1 hour long walks every Wednesday.  Walks start at The Arboretum kiosk at 12:15 p.m.   For further information contact Rachel at rirwin@uoguelph.ca or ext. 52363.  The hike may be cancelled if there is inclement weather.
