COVID-19: What's New with Dr. Andrew Papadopoulos

Join Dr. Andrew Papadopoulos for a third discussion on the current COVID-19 pandemic.  This brief talk will be followed by Q & A. Please submit any questions you have when you register. About the Facilitator: Andy is a professor in the Department of Population Medicine and the coordinator of the Master of Public Health Program.  His research focuses on environmental public health issues and public health policy. 

Mood Moves

The Wellness Education Centre is hosting virtual Mood Moves every Wednesday for students and employees. Join us for a quick stretching and movement session at your own comfort level! Our group will meet online for a quick check in, followed by about 10 minutes of stretching and light activity! This group aims to support your mental and physical health by providing you with an opportunity to take a step back from your responsibilities and stresses, while helping add some activity into your day.

Please join with your family and friends.  Dr. Hansa Yogendra (born 1947) is an Indian yoga guru, author, researcher, counsellor, and TV personality (Yoga for Better Living). She is the Director of The Yoga Institute, Mumbai, the oldest organized yoga center in the world founded in 1918.

Wellness Friday: Forgiveness: Letting Go and Moving Forward

It can be difficult, or near impossible, to forgive someone who has hurt or wronged us. Holding on to these resentments can have negative effects on our health, our well-being, and our ability to experience joy and happiness. This session will explore what it means to forgive, how to move from a place of anger to a place of peace, and how this process can free us from our past hurts. Facilitator: Homewood Health
