Join us for an engaging tour of the Art Gallery of Guelph’s current exhibitions with AGG's new curator, Erin Szikora! Explore Entrelazados, featuring the bold, colourful installations of Guatemalan-Mexican-American artist Justin Favela that remix Latinx culture and pop references, Do You Remember Love, a thought-provoking pairing of Susan Mogul’s video installation with intricate quillboxes from the Tower Hill Museum, and Recent Acquisitions: Contemporary Indigenous Artists at AGG, showcasing powerful works by First Nations, Métis, and Inuit artists that bridge tradition and innovation.

Join our workshop, where Eramosa Physiotherapy Associates' Nicole Watson (Registered Physiotherapist) will guide you through understanding pelvic floor dysfunction and how the pelvic floor muscles and surrounding fascia could be the culprit for these problems.

Grab your skates and head down to the Gryphon Centre Arena for a recreational skate to take a break in the day. Hosted by Athletics & Recreation for staff and faculty to attend as part of Wellness@Work. Helmets are recommended and staff and faculty should bring their U of G cards. Attendees will need to sign a waiver before entering the rink. Skate Rentals are available at Gryph's Locker in the arena. $10 per rental. See more info on the Athletics & Recreation website.

Participants will be introduced to a variety of effective, practical tools to improve physical health, respect mental/ emotional health, and cultivate a strong social support network. Planning to retire can be a source of both excitement and anxiety. Whatever the emotional response, retirement marks a transition to a new life stage and lifestyle in which daily routines, identity, and roles all change. This session will introduce participants to the emotional effects of retirement. Participants will get an opportunity to reflect on what their ideal retirement looks like and what they can do to make it happen. Registration This session has been cancelled. In the fast-paced and often demanding environment of a university, it’s easy to overlook the importance of self-compassion. This workshop will use Dr Kristin Neff's evidence-based research to invite participants to explore practical ways to enhance self-compassion while navigating their professional and personal lives.
