Beyond the Books- Mental Health Training

Beyond the Books is a face to face session that will first provide participants with general information on the prevalence of mental challenges and illness. It will then help participants to identify signs of troubling behaviour and give them skills to engage in a preliminary discussion to determine if referral to a professional is necessary.

Walking Wednesday

There are many benefits to moving your body at work!  For three Wednesdays in March, Athletics is opening up the walking track to all employees for free. No membership required!  All participants must check-in with Client Services and sign an electronic waiver to access the walking track.   Please bring your clean, indoor walking / running shoes only.    Please adhere to the posted walking track guidelines. Stop by anytime on March 6, 13 or 20 to enjoy a walk on your lunch break or bring a colleague for a walking meeting.

Bowl for Kids Sake

HEY GRYPHONS! Get your bowling pins lined up and your team stacked! This Year’s Gryphon Goal is $10,000! Can’t bowl? You can still raise money! See the attached poster for more details. 

Anxiety: Skills & Strategies

This group program meets once a week for 3 weeks to develop and practice skills in decreasing the uncomfortable sensations of anxiety. A variety of long and short self-calming techniques are introduced, along with behaviours that can help prevent escalation of anxiety.  All techniques in this program have originated from research into strategies which decrease anxiety. They have been well studied and the most up-to-date information will be presented.

This is the right program for … those who want to control their expenses and learn the principles of sound money management. You may register for a single session or the complete series.

Your Brain @ Work

Let’s celebrate International Women's Day by helping educate and support working women about their minds! This special lecture edition will focus on the natural changes of hormones before and during Menopause. It's not just about hot flashes! The objective of this lecture is to create awareness of the natural cycle of Menopause, educate regarding identification of symptoms, connect participants to local resources, and provide tips & tricks for brain optimization during this important stage of life.

Wellness Friday- Building Working Relationships

Every time people interact, there is an opportunity to build or damage a relationship. Improving the quality of relationships in the workplace can enhance productivity and reduce conflict. This session will review three key tools that can build relationships, will provide coaching on how to use these tools effectively, and will assist participants in developing strategies to address relationship challenges.
