The Bullring was built in 1901 and was originally used as a pavilion for the study and judging of horses, cattle, sheep and swine. Since then, the Bullring has been a popular bar/dance club and is now a coffeehouse run by the Central Students Association. Join us for a new mental health and physical activity program called Mood Routes. This new program (also known as Mood Walks) is initiated by the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) and the Centre for Innovation in Campus Mental Health. These walking groups aim to support the mental and physical health of our campus community members by providing them with an opportunity to take a step back from their responsibilities and stresses, engage with their community, and enjoy the healing effects of nature.

This two part workshop provides information and practical strategies to decrease test anxiety while in class, studying, before the exam, and during the exam.   Skills development is emphasized in class and daily practice is very strongly recommended.

The Smoke-Free Campus Steering Committee will host an information session on Nov. 26 from noon to 1pm in Peter Clark Hall. Learn more about our smoke-free campus work to date and anticipated next steps. Steering Committee members will be on hand to answer questions.  All staff and employees are invited to attend.

When stressors overwhelm us, effective techniques can help to bring us back to equilibrium. This session will explore all aspects of the stress response, focusing on practical tips and tools to bring us to optimal stress levels, thereby helping us to maximize our energy and performance.
