Get into the holiday spirit with some skating, hot beverages, and snacks! Grab your skates and head down to the Gryphon Centre Arena for a recreational skate. Helmets recommended. No skate rentals are available. Hot beverages and light snacks will be available. Please also consider bringing an item to donate to the Guelph Student FoodBank. Need your skates sharpened? You can get them sharpened at Gryph’s Pro Shop in the Arena. They will be open for skate sharpening from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm on Wellness @ Work skate days and the charge is $9.00.

Looking to learn more about your U of G Guelph campus? Take your break and join our tour guide, Hilary Holmes, U of G Pathways Advisor, for a stroll. Hilary was employed as a U of G campus tour guide from 2012-2015 and has toured hundreds of staff, students and their families. All are welcome, so bring a friend or colleague. The tour will last approximately 60 minutes. Most of the tour will be outside, so please remember to dress for the weather, wear comfortable shoes, and bring your water bottle as needed. 

Inspired by World Kindness on November 13th, join us for this creative workshop where we will mindfully practice kindness towards ourselves through artmaking. Please know that absolutely no artmaking experience is required, and you can participate with simple art materials available around your home. Register now!
