Spring Cleaning Challenge

Looking for a bit of inspiration to get some spring cleaning done?  Participate in this April Spring Cleaning Challenge to help organize your home and work space. 

Use a check mark to indicate you have completed the activity each day of the month.

Submit your completed calendar with your name and email to wellnessatwork@uoguelph.ca or drop-off the hard copy in Human Resources with attention to Sarah Joosse.

Everyone who completes the tasks on the calendar will be entered into a draw for a prize!  Please send your completed calendars on April 30, 2019.

A Walk in the Park: Sculpture Park Activity Contest

Between April 8th - 29th, 2019 complete your Walk in the Park Sculpture Activity Sheet for a chance to win some great prizes from the Art Gallery of Guelph.  First place is a complimentary one-year family membership to the Art Gallery of Guelph! 

Take a walk through the sculpture park and identify the sculptures using the attached worksheet.

Work Out Nutrition

Working out is an important part of a healthy lifestyle. It is also important to consider carbohydrates, proteins and fluids and how each can help enhance your workout.

 

Carbohydrates help to prevent fatigue while exercising by providing you the energy for your muscles and your brain. About 1-4 hours before you exercise try to include carbohydrate rich foods such as whole grain bread, pasta, fruits such as bananas and apples, or starchy vegetables such as potatoes.  Some examples of good pre-exercise snacks are:
