Dear U of G Faculty and Staff,
The UofG Free Store is a student-led, office-supported waste prevention initiative that has successfully rehomed over 1500 items this year alone! This waste prevention program allows members of our campus community to give a second life to their unwanted items, which can then be picked up for free by others. Not only does this prevent usable items from ending up in a landfill, but it also provides a unique shopping experience for staff and students alike.
This Winter practice yoga weekly with the U of G Yoga and Meditation Collective.
Everyone is welcome! No Experience is Required. Note: Try not to eat at least an hour before your yoga practice.

This November, Wellness@Work and the GREAT at U of G Initiative challenge you to focus on being kind to yourself and others by completing our November Kindness Challenge. Kindness, the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate can help make our community stronger, more connected, and more resilient.
When supporting animals used in research, it is common for staff to experience emotional distress, fatigue and burn-out due to compassionate caring. Compassion resilience is therefore extremely important to develop and foster by ensuring animal care and use staff feel valued and emotionally supported.
The Compassion Resilience Project is facilitated by the Compassion Resilience Committee (CRC), U of G members of the animal care & use community.
